I had a conversation with an older entrepreneur riding around in his Porsche 911 Turbo on the streets of Tokyo the other day.

We were talking about how to make sure that the results AI produces are correct.

On one hand, we have to check the AI's work.

trust but verify. That's a given.

But most people don't realize this: you can have an AI check its own work.

Here's how you do it.

Using Chatgpt, Claude, or your LLM of choice which support sub-agents, you tell it:

“Hey, can you spawn up a sub-agent to QC check the work to make sure it's accurate, to make sure it covers all of the parameters X, Y, and Z?”

The beauty of this is oftentimes it will catch its own errors before you have to spend time manually checking all the details.

This is similar to when you have an executive assistant.

After they produce a report for you, oftentimes I would ask, “Did you check all of the links?”

I don't want to spend my time manually checking all the links.

Sometimes they may “forget” to do this, and they would go back and check themselves.

The same philosophy applies here: have the AI spawn up a sub-agent to QC check the work before you look at it.

But you might be wondering if an AI can really check its own work?

One of the students in our 7 Figure AI Ecom cohort had the question. He was doubting:

“Can an AI check itself? Like if I'm using ChatGPT for the work, shouldn't I have Claude do it?”

My response is not necessarily.

Your main agent can spawn up a separate agent with a separate context window. So it comes in with “fresh eyes.”

Does this catch 100% of the mistakes? No but it can catch errors and fix them giving you a better quality result saving your time.

Trust but verify still applies.

And then you can even loop it to repeatedly check and have the main agent take that report and make improvements.

“You want to set a constraint. You don't want to loop forever and burn your entire weekly limit.”

These are the kind of best practices that are exchanged in casual conversations and not YouTube videos or AI hackathons.

That's why I'm hosting the 7 Figure Japan Mastermind in Tokyo next month, where you can learn insights from real people using AI in their businesses like this.

I'm limiting the seats to just a small mastermind, and we still have some seats available.

Check out details below.

The Vital Few

Prime Big Deal Days: the deadline before the sale

Oct 6, 2026–Oct 7, 2026 is the shopping event. Sep 22, 2026 is the extended deal-sourcing deadline Amazon wants sellers to act on now.

The extra time is useful if it lets you check the promotion properly: stock, margin after the discount, and the ad budget behind it. A deal on an ASIN you can't keep in stock is a different problem from getting the submission in on time.

TAKEAWAY: Check eligible offers in your account and make the submission decision before Sep 22, 2026. Work backward from the inventory cutoff for your shipment, not just the sale dates.

A small importer-record error can become a shipping problem

Your next inventory check may need to start with an address, not a purchase order.

CBP's enhanced enforcement of importer-record accuracy begins Sep 18, 2026. Its notice says incomplete or inaccurate Form 5106 information can cause an Importer of Record number to be voided, making it invalid for entering goods into the US.

This was announced in August. The reason to bring it up now is the effective date, especially if you have holiday inventory in transit.

TAKEAWAY: Ask your customs broker to verify the information currently on file, including the importer's actual physical address and email and phone details belonging directly to the importer. Confirm the record rather than assuming an old setup is still correct.

Selling bundles? Check what you can still sell in January

Amazon is updating its product-bundling policy on Jan 11, 2027. Most bundles listed under a single ASIN must be packaged by the original manufacturer or brand.

There are exceptions, including authorized repackaging, designated gifting and camera categories, and virtual bundles. So the useful question is which rule applies to each bundle you actually sell.

TAKEAWAY: Review your bundle ASINs before committing to another packaging or inventory run. Identify the applicable exception and documentation where needed. Amazon says noncompliant bundles will be deactivated after the effective date.

Shipping LCL from Asia to Europe? Check the surcharge line

Maersk's Sep 16, 2026 advisory removes its LCL peak-season surcharge from the Sep 17, 2026 price-calculation date for Far East Asia shipments to North and Mediterranean Europe on E1W/E2W.

That gives you a specific line to question on a quote. It doesn't establish that the total freight bill is lower, or that US-bound and full-container shipments got the same change.

TAKEAWAY: If you use these routes, have your forwarder confirm the applicable price-calculation date and surcharge treatment on your next quote.

On the calendar

Amazon Accelerate is Sep 22, 2026–Sep 24, 2026 in Seattle. Bring one account or workflow question you want help resolving. For any new feature announcement, check its actual availability before changing your process.
