Hey there,

This week is not business as usual.

The U.S.–EU just agreed on a $1.35 trillion trade shift—15% tariffs on EU goods, zero on U.S. exports. Europe is now wide open for sellers in energy, pharma, and more. This deal changes the game for anyone ready to scale across borders. But only if you move fast.

Amazon just announced it’s ending all FBA prep services by 2026. No more labeling or prep—shipments must arrive retail-ready, or get rejected without reimbursement. And with Q4 approaching, there’s no time to wing it. Join us live this Thursday, July 31 at 5PM EST to get your Q4 plan locked in.

In a major shift in transatlantic trade policy, the U.S. and European Union have reached a preliminary agreement to impose a 15% tariff on most European goods—down from the 30% previously threatened by the Trump administration. In return, the EU has committed to buying $750B worth of U.S. energy and investing an additional $600B in the American economy. The deal eliminates tariffs on U.S. exports to the EU entirely, and aims to boost certainty for companies operating across both regions. Though not yet finalized, this agreement could unlock significant new opportunities for U.S. exporters while softening tensions in global trade.

Key Highlights:

  • 15% tariff set on most EU goods (down from 30% threatened).

  • Zero tariffs on U.S. goods exported to Europe.

  • EU to purchase $750B in U.S. energy, invest $600B more in U.S.

  • Covers key trade sectors: energy, pharma, autos, semiconductors, machinery.

  • Follows recent U.S. deals with Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the UK.

Takeaway for Sellers:
This deal slashes trade friction and opens the floodgates for U.S. sellers to Europe, especially in energy, pharma, and machinery. Prepare for increased demand and revisit your EU market strategy—tariff-free access is a game-changer.

Starting January 1, 2026, Amazon will no longer offer prep or item labeling services for any Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipments in the U.S. Sellers must fully prep and label their products before sending them, or risk rejected inventory and no reimbursement. Amazon says the change supports faster fulfillment and reflects improved seller packaging standards.

This impacts all inventory channels, including AWD, AGL, SEND, and more. Sellers without in-house prep will need to use third-party providers or explore Amazon’s SIPP option. Prep services will still apply to shipments created before January 1.

Takeaway for Sellers:
If you rely on FBA prep, transition now—Amazon won’t handle it after January. Unprepped inventory may be rejected and unreimbursed.
