First off this will save you a ton of time on the mundane tasks that are still time consuming but important. Inventory management, keeping track of products to place new orders, customer service tickets, keeping track of your competitors' listings, pricing, their reviews, if they're running any coupons or deals. All of this, your OpenClaw agent can take care of for you, can offload that off your plate.
Also in terms of listing optimization, Rufus AI and A9. You can just give it your product and it can give you all of the recommendations. I wouldn't let it take control of your Seller Central just yet because you still need a human in the loop.
And grow your business because it can help you scale and launch more ASINs. From the product research side you can quickly take down your product ideas. All you have to do is say "hey, take down this idea that I just thought of." It will keep track and it will do the research for you.

Q: How does the 80/20 OpenClaw Ecom Accelerator work?
In a two week sprint we will have four live cohort work sessions of 90 minutes each — 60 minute screen share and building with 30 minute Q&A.

Each session is an interactive workshop where you will build your OpenClaw system. Session one: you will get it set up and running. Make sure all the security measures are in place to prevent any prompt injection, any risk, malware attack. Q: How is this different from other courses using AI for ecom?

Q: What if I don't have a profitable business idea yet?
OpenClaw can help you find ideas more quickly, validate them in seconds. Usually 10x the speed for you to get your business started.
Q: What do I need to set up OpenClaw on my computer?
You need access to an LLM. I recommend Claude Opus 4.6 or Gemini Pro. ChatGPT is good as well. Minimax is the best bang for the buck option, but your mileage may vary. The best tool would be a Claude Max subscription at $200 a month. You can try the $20 version first to get started. Minimax is only $10.
You also will need a messaging app. I recommend Telegram. Even if you don't have Telegram, that's fine. It's actually better — I didn't use Telegram until I set up my agent and it is the only person I have on Telegram. So no chance of messages from others.
You'll also need either a VPS (virtual server) or a dedicated computer. The VPS will run you less than $10 a month. Do NOT run it on your main computer. That is sin number one.
Q: What if I don't want to build an ecommerce business?
You can still take the content to create an OpenClaw agent team for other businesses such as an agency.

Q: What if I already created a few OpenClaw agents?
That's great. You have a head start and you will move even more quickly as we build out the nine agentic key areas and the 38 steps of an Amazon business.

Q: Do I need to know how to code or have a technical background?
No. You just need either a VPS or a dedicated computer.

Q: How much time do I need to commit?
Each week there will be two 90 minute cohort sessions. Outside of that it depends on how much you want to invest into your business. I would suggest during this sprint you block out at least one to two hours per day to get this done right. We will be moving fast as this is an accelerator, not a slow boat to China.
Q: What if I fall behind?
I created a program so that you have the recordings available and you can catch up at your own time. And you can also get help from the WhatsApp group from other students.

Q: Is OpenClaw just chasing the latest fad?
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said every CEO and every company needs to have an open cloud strategy.
If OpenClaw really is just a shiny new object, then Sam Altman from OpenAI must be chasing after shiny new objects when he hired OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger to build out a version for OpenAI. This really is replacing ChatGPT already.

Q: How can I afford this program?

Q: Can I learn how to create OpenClaw agents on my own?
Yes, absolutely. And actually I've made quite a few mistakes on my own, including crashing my bot several times and having to spend hours and hours learning how to rebuild it, as well as paying more than I'd like in API costs.
Why not give yourself every advantage to get the system set up right, minimize your unnecessary expenses and tokens, as well as learning from others' mistakes so you can grow your business as fast as you can.
Q: Do I need a local computer to run OpenClaw, or can I use a virtual server?
You can use either. A local Mac mini or similar works great, especially if you're just starting out and want to keep things simple. But a virtual server (VPS) is totally viable and often better in the long run — you can run it 24/7 without needing a computer on your desk, which means your agents keep working while you sleep.

Q: Is OpenClaw secure? I'm concerned about security before implementing.
Security is a legitimate concern, and we take it seriously. OpenClaw runs on YOUR hardware or your VPS — not on my servers. That means your data stays in your control. Your API keys, your Seller Central credentials, your sales data — all local or isolated.

Yes, completely. This is exactly what OCEA teaches. An agent can pull your sales data, calculate average sales velocity and days of inventory, estimate optimal reorder quantities based on your lead times, and suggest PO units.

They're different tools for different jobs. Claude Code is great for one-off scripts and analysis. You ask, it writes code, you run it.
OpenClaw is a full automation framework for agents that run 24/7. It handles scheduling, external connections like Telegram and Google Sheets, and long-running tasks.

Q: What AI tools do you use with OpenClaw? Does it matter?
I use a combination of Claude, ChatGPT, and a bit of Gemini for OpenClaw. I have paid versions of the first two and I use the free version of Gemini. If you join the cohort, I'll have a detailed breakdown of which models to use where and how to economize based on use cases and budget.
Q: How do you ensure the skills you install are secure? Do you teach how to make your own skills?
I am super careful about installing skills on my OpenClaw setup. I basically never install any skills from ClawHub unless it's from a trusted source and I specifically instruct my OpenClaw bot not to do this without my permission.
In fact I created skills myself related to PPC optimization, supply chain management, listing optimization, daily research reports, cron jobs, and a lot more. I will share all the skills with the cohort. These skills are basically a base recipe that you can adapt and customize specific to your own business.

To answer your question — no, I don't naively advise installing skills to your OpenClaw, which we will cover in detail in the cohort.
Q: Can I use OpenClaw for non-Amazon use cases? What if I'm not currently selling on Amazon?
Many people use OpenClaw for investment research, for market intelligence, and to save time and repetitive tasks.
I don’t recommend hooking it up to your bank account or financial online accounts for security reasons obviously.
You still need a human in the loop but think of it as a research assistant or strategist to help you with 80% of the more menial and lower-value work so you can focus on the higher-value strategic decisions.
If you are considering dipping your toes back into Amazon in the future, then definitely OCEA will build a great foundation to get started.

Q: Do I need the SP-API (Selling Partner API) or can I use CSV exports?
The 80/20 approach is using CSV/report exports from Seller Central — simpler to set up, no developer registration required, and your AI agents can process them automatically. Most sellers start here and it covers a lot of ground. If you do want to go the SP-API route, we can work through that too in the cohort.

Q: What happens if I don't join?
