Effective June 12, 2025, Amazon will begin charging or crediting sellers using Amazon Partnered Carriers if there's a mismatch between the shipment details sellers provide and what the carrier records. That means your FBA costs could shift — for better or worse — based on your accuracy.

This isn’t a new fee, but it is a new policy that adjusts existing ones. Sellers who overestimate dimensions may see refunds — but underestimates will lead to surprise charges.
